Blue Sky Church: November

Nisqually NWR

This is my kind of church.

On a morning when we all woke up to still another mass shooting, I needed to clear my head. While they refuse to call it a hate crime (yet) it’s impossible to imagine a justifiable defense for walking into a crowded nightclub with a rifle and opening fire. So many lives taken and altered in that moment. For the people who think hateful, divisive rhetoric isn’t dangerous, think again. We need to stop this madness.

Come to Blue Sky Church. Breathe in the cold November air, stretch out your legs and your mind. Open your heart. It’s impossible to be grateful and hateful in the same moment.

We believe in being attentive and mindful. We believe in appreciation for all living things, and allow those things, to be as they are. No one is born with hate.

Say thank you. And then say it again.

A congregation of birds is called a “flight flock”. They come together in this way for safety and well being.

Join us.
Rise up.
Reach out.
Be a light.
