The photo of the bittern with its reflection looking back – it made me gasp. What a great capture. But the panoramic view of Nisqually NWR with the boardwalk on the right took my breath away.
You would love these early mornings at the refuge. I’ll likely head back tomorrow in hopes of capturing the light snow on the path and take in the stillness.
I woke up to snow here! About two inches. I was not expecting it, but it’s lovely. I hope you have a lovely snowy morning there.
Here too! Although the roads are clear. I may take a drive today, but definitely a trip to the refuge tomorrow.

I think of what a wonderful gift it is to be born in November. It was definitely nice and chilly. A good walk with good friends. And a bittern bonus!
