  1. I. Just. Love. Your. Photos. Yes to that lazuli – your next assignment is to get one on some brightly colored flowers! Or do they avoid them so as not to outshine their own handsome bearing? Keep on friend!

    • You realize, of course, that I spent a ridiculous amount of time waiting for that bunting to land in the lupine field. It didn”t happen but it’s not impossible! Pretty sure all the birds that might be inclined to linger are getting out of WA. This rain is ridonkulous!

  2. Look at the colour on that Lazuli Bunting. That’s outstanding. One of my mom’s favourite birds was the Cedar Waxwing, so I always love those. How could you not, with the caramel shades melting around their heads and shoulders? And what an excellent photo you created, too. I really love the first image of the Dusky Flycatcher – what a little sweetheart. Most of all I think the many photos of the sunlight and the White-crowned Sparrow and all the flowers. *sigh*

    • Thanks, Crystal. That Lazuli was a big surprise. I tell ya, sometimes I am the luckiest girl around. There is definitely a reward for patience and attentiveness. The lupine and the sparrows were made for each other!

  3. And I’M looking forward to YOU having an exciting summer in the wild too!

    • 😊 Love this. Maybe I’ll get a chance to walk the beach with you this summer. There were a couple birding spots nearby I had hoped to visit but last time I was there it was pouring. Thanks for dropping by ♡
