Just like at your place, there is a resident Anna’s hummingbird here too. I love this little guy. For now, he has the feeder to himself. I just put out some seed for the Juncos too. Backyard birding rocks!
I wonder how many different types of organisms live in the average backyard ecosystem? Probably way more than we imagine.
I think you’re right about that! Probably millions, and every backyard its own little microcosm.
Lovely to have the backyard version of beauty at your fingertips. And to catch a hummingbird – that’s hard to do!
This little guy is their resident Anna’s. He has two perches that I know of when he’s not at the feeder. So, so sweet.
