I had a dream last night that I was covered in honey, walking through a group of people I didn’t know, covered in feathers. It was like a game, trying to keep the feathers from sticking to me. I woke up thinking of Covid …
Thank you to everyone who has been vaccinated. It’s like pulling on a sweater over those feathers so that the “honey-covered” among us can feel safe. I appreciate your simple, loving act.
Bonnie Rae I felt that way on a trip to a rural town near Olympia today. The CDC ‘safe’ count for the Delta variant is 25 people. That town had about 800 variant cases. There were just five of us in the local library for a meeting. All masked and sitting 6 feet apart.
I get it. I’m still feeling very vulnerable in the company of those feckless, maskless folks who really don’t care if they might be hurting others. My dream just reinforces that !
