Church

The sky is a mix of clouds and stars on my drive. Spots of light in the soft blanket of early morning. I’ve missed this. 

I started thinking about how this is my church, these mornings. There’s something transformative about mountain air and emerging light. Everything is new again.

  1. Nice thoughts to go with your beautiful images. There’s a reason Rainier is called The Mountain, with a capital “M.”

    • Yes, she has the title of Her Majesty around here. I got a photo of her a few years ago with “a face” in the clouds above. She is stunning and the weather she creates around her,, is equally so.
