Where I’ve Been
I can’t even. I just can’t.
It’s hard to quantify and yet here, in the starkest of terms, they have tried to make visual the scope of an invisible disease. I always see those numbers in terms of our packed football stadiums. It is equal in number to that times two. That is a lot of lives. A lot of faces. A lot of ripples left surging through an unimaginable number of family and friends. These are not acceptable losses and by no means are we at the end. Staggering.
