A Winter Hike to The Spit

Dungeness Spit on a beautiful blue sky day. 

Two things:

First:  I am not in hiking condition yet and this 11 miles of sand and rock kicked my butt. 

Second: I took probably two hundred photos on my (heavy) digital camera only to get home and realize that I had forgotten the SD card. Sigh …
