Beautiful Diversion

I remain humbled by the outpouring of love and support by my postal family. I am working on thank you cards and realize that I have A LOT to send. I hope you know how grateful I am and how much I appreciate your patience in my offering of thanks.

I had the opportunity to take an amazing hike with a friend on Friday to Comet Falls, Van Trump Park and the trail to Mildred Point in MRNP. It was a glorious day. The rain came this morning, so our timing couldn’t have been better. The most wonderful surprise was this gorgeous fox. I have since learned it to be a Cascadian Red Fox, with a beautiful winter coat. She was fearless and friendly. Sometimes I feel like the luckiest woman in the world !

  1. Love how you played with focus and distance in some of these. Definitely some of my favorites so far! Beautiful work and beautiful words as always.

  2. Bonnie your pictures are awesome and you are so lucky that that Beautiful Fox came out to greet to you!

    • I know !! Every time I venture outside there is usually one thing that stands out as particularly surprising. Fox Friday was sooo cool !

  3. I love that yellow line level photo so much! What a glorious day you had. I never would have thought that trail was hikable in November. And the fox. Oh my goodness. Surely an omen of something wonderful to come.

    • I thought the same thing about that fox ! Yes, the weather window was perfect for a trip up there. I know the snow is coming but it was nice to get into the park to see Comet Falls in all of her glory ! Oh, and I still haven’t made it all the way to Mildred Point !

You know I'd love to hear from you !
