Where I’ve Been
Just searching for the good stuff .
So great! As you say, it seems miraculous. Even more amazing is that it’s not miraculous; it’s “just” the amazing resilience of Mother Nature. It’s how I know the earth will go on even after we humans ruin it. The Great Mother has been known to destroy it too! And still, she brings it back.
The guy I met was telling me how if it had erupted during August it might still look like the barren surface of the moon. Snow protected much, fallen trees too. And later, it was the Prairie Gophers coming up through the ash that turned the soil and helped facilitate that amazing natural renewal. A miracle. Mama really does know best ♡
