Perfect morning. Liz Gilbert in my ear for my two hour roundtrip drive and a brisk hike with pack-leader Yoda (aka Blaze). LIFE indeed !
Little Yoda is quite the hiker. I’m envisioning you on the narrow ledge with a leash in one hand and a camera videoing in the other and waiting for the shoe to drop. 😬
Be glad you didn’t see us crossing the stream or climbing the Falls trail that went straight up ! That trail was steep and I only made it up halfway until realizing the challenge it would be coming back down a slippery trail with only one hand free and my poles (stupidly) safely in the trunk at the trailhead ! Really great flat forest hike that could be extended to 8 miles from an alternate trailhead.
